Hello!
Hello! I'm Kristina and I have been pet sitting on the Palouse for over 15 years. I have a passion for animals of all sizes and types and look forward to meeting you and yours.
My Story
Animals are and always have been a huge part of my life. I had a variety of different pets while growing up including hedgehogs, guinea pigs, various birds, cats, and dogs. Working with animals one way or another was always my dream so I got my degree as a Veterinarian Technician in 2004 and have worked as one ever since.
Working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for the past 18 years has given me the opportunity to learn many things and develop experience and skills which help me better care for my clients' animals. Although I worked full time as a technician for many years, I now work at the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital part time so that I have time to devote to pet sitting. Caring for people's pets in their own homes is something I am passionate about, as I know from experience that many pets do much better in their normal, familiar environment while their families are away.
On the side, I have a small hobby farm on the edge of Moscow which houses a little of everything. My family currently includes 1 cow, 7 sheep, 4 goats, 2 pigs, some pheasants, many chickens, a rabbit, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and a little parrot. When I'm not busy with animal care, I enjoy taking my dogs for hikes on Moscow Mountain, reading, decorating, playing the piano, and attempting to beautify my little farm.
