Services and Rates

Below is a summary of the services and prices I offer as a pet sitter. Rates vary depending on how many visits per day you want, how many pets you have, and level of care needed. Feel free to contact me with any specific questions and needs, and I can send you more details and a quote.

Pet Sitting

Visits run anywhere from $15-$30 each, depending on number of pets, level of care needed, number of visits needed per day, and location.

Included with each visit:

Feeding and providing fresh water
Exercise as needed
Mail and newspaper collection
Watering plants (extensive watering may be additional fee)
Medication administration (may be additional fee, depending on what is needed)
Litter box maintenance
Trash container take-out/retrieval
General security check
Playing with your pet/giving lots of love

Additional Services

Insulin administration: $5 per injection
Subcutaneous fluid administration: $20 per administration, or $10 if done at the time of a regular pet sitting visit. You provide all supplies.
General house checks/mail collection/basic plant watering (no pets involved ): $15 per visit
Nail trims: $20 *
Anal gland expression: $20*

*Due to the nature of some animals I reserve the right to recommend a local vet clinic if I am unable to do these without risk to myself or stress to your pet.

Holiday Rates

Rates do not increase for holiday time frames.

Keeping in Touch

I will always send you an email or a text after my first visit in order for you to have peace of mind about the wellbeing of your pet. If you are gone for an extended period of time (over 4 days) I will give you updates every few days in order for you to rest assured that your pet is doing well in your absence. If you prefer daily updates, I am happy to do this- just let me know!

Last Minute Requests

I am generally able to accommodate last minute pet sitting requests. If you need to cancel your trip, please give me as much notice as possible. There is no charge for cancelations.

Meet-n-Greet

Before I care for your pets, I would love to meet you and your furry family. A complimentary meet and greet will enable us to get acquainted, discuss the services you require, complete paperwork, and let me pick up a key.

Keys

Many clients prefer that I keep a copy of a key on hand at all times, thus enabling you to just give me a call/email whenever your pets need watched. 0ther arrangements can be made, however, if you prefer I only have the key while I am caring for your pets.

Payment can be made by cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle. Please make checks payable to Kristina Hoffmann.
